My dad used to get ticked off that the only time he heard from the RAF was when they sent out their yearly begging letter. He always wanted to write back and point out that he was an ex-RAF serviceman so were they meaning to support him rather than ask for him to support others.

He's right Shoulders back - my dad would never be rude and would eat whatever was put in front of him.

Its nice to see them all enjoying their tea though - better than the toffs who ate the puddings.

Shoulders when someone that age says "very nice" you know they're being well mannered :)
