Is anyone else watching this? I am finding it truly inspiring, and very humbling. Makes my worries about size 12/14 and the odd facial hair Blush seem very insignificant.

I have just stumbled on this 10 mins ago and agree it's humbling and has brought tears to my eyes. I so hope that Emily find a job and Katie looks incredibly glamorous and feminine.

I watched this last week as well and all of the people featured are amazing.

I'm so glad you started this thread as I've been thinking about this amazing young woman and the other people on the programme all week.
This is such a good programme as it challenges without being mawkish or sensationalist and is uplifting without being sappy.

I agree, I enjoyed how frank it was but at the same time hopeful, so glad that they are supporting each other.

I googled Katie, seem to remember the case of the ex arranging to have acid thrown in her face Sad. Well done to her and her foundation.

When I first saw each of the participants, I was struck by just how horribly disfigured they are, and my heart broke for what they have gone through. Seeing the picture of Emily in her First Holy Communion dress was particularly poignant. But then it is amazing how quickly, as I find out about them as people, that I saw beyond the scars, and saw them as beautiful in their own right.

However, I do think Simon should have more of an effort, instead of sticking to his usual t-shirt, for the charity launch!

She is a truly beautiful, inspirational Woman. All the people featured are so incredibly brave.

I'm no fan of Simon Cowell but I bet he's made a huge financial donation to the Foundation. Hope so.

I really enjoy watching this and think Katie is such an inspiration, like somebody already said makes me feel stupid for when I worry about the odd spot or something.

Amazing but think people like that should not have to raise funds for scar treatment - should be on NHS. What about soldiers and like from wars that also get badly scared?
