Fern - on C4 now

Didn't realise she had a new show.

What do we think?

I quite like her (and the jacket she's wearing today!)

I watched it yesterday and really enjoyed it. Made me feel wistful watching This Morning - really not liking Holly at the moment and it made me realise that Fern was sooo much better!

I thought it was dreadful, sorry! She wasn't very good at all, seemed very nervous and couldn't get her words out. Maybe it will get better with time.

You can tell she's nervous. I still miss her on This Morning, I never took to Little Bo Peep. I've no doubt Fern will be great when she finds her feet.

Looks like she's trying to do a Jools Holland with people in the the different corners. that;s fine if as on Jools, everyone's there as a singer, but Chris Evans in one corner talking b and then Fern trying to do a serious interview with the daughter of Fred West in another was a bit awkward. Not sure if format will work.

I agree, its too segmened. All different people thown together trying to make a show. The Jools Holland format is not working for Fern. It may be a bit outdated but one set, one sofa, one guest, an ad break, next guest would flow better.

I have just turned this on after being in the garden, she was talking to a woman who had triplets and I am so shocked by her interviewing style, she was sooooooooooo patronising.

What is happening to her??!!

I agree ng412. I cant ever remember her being so awful when she presented This Morning. She seems so fake and fake. She used to seem warm and interested in what her guests were saying. I cringe watching her now [shocked]

I hate to say this, I really do ... but I have gone right off Fern! Sad.

For all sorts of reasons, but one of the major ones is because she has written a bloody novel FGS! Can none of these farking telly types leave novel writing to the experts.

I bloody love the name Fern though. Ds would probably have been a Fern if he had been a dd, not a ds.
