Who is this Stacey Dooley? And why is she doing a whole programme stating the bleeding obvious?

How old is she? And does she have to be quite so irritating?

She is a young woman who had her eyes opened to poverty in India, I think, after taking part in a reality show which took blinkered affluent teenagers to other parts of the world to educate them. She was transformed by her experience, and is now trying to raise awareness among other young people. I rather like her.

I liked her , didn't see the indian episode but watched the one on Tourism on Thailand.
Both DH and I commented on how she reminded us of Lorraine Chase and just looked her up and she comes from Luton!

Watching on iplayer... she IS really annoying, and stating the obvious but I don't think the programme is aimed at me! If you are young I guess it may be very educational and make you think.

What is getting me is how it has been edited, I am thinking she doesn't speak Thai, yet in all the interviews it keeps cutting to her nodding in agreement throughout. Think I am overthinking!
