Has anyone been watching this new comedy ?

Have watched it from the beginning and wasn't sure at first but I find as the weeks go on it gets funnier and funnier.

I saw the one with the sofa, wasn't sure about it tbh but I'll give it another go. I think its TG playing a mum to grown up kids that confuses me Smile

tortilla · 16/03/2011 18:45

It's growing on me. Reminds me of Grandma's House which I loved. I do think TG has watched Rebecca Front in that a bit too closely though.

compo · 16/03/2011 20:03

I think it's hilarious
I was lol from the first episode

Alibobster · 16/03/2011 20:05

It is getting funnier. Loved last week when he jumped out of the binbag and scared his granny. Creepy Jim the neighbour is just horrible though

tookoolforskool · 18/03/2011 09:44

I think its hysterical. The first one was a bit slow, but i think its the ongoing jokes, like the salt in the glasses, and the dad with his top off and the sibling bickering..
Like how it is in real families, not saying mine is like that or anything.. !! lol

vmcd28 · 19/03/2011 10:42

I really like this, although simon bird is exactly the same as he was in the inbetweeners.
Not very interesting fact, the other son is jim rosenthals son in RL.

Wasn't it on last night? Just noticed it's not on my sky planner

MissGreatBritain · 30/03/2011 18:45

I actually cried laughing at the first episode and it's a long time since I've done that! I think it was the "your dad's got 4 penises" text that did it Grin

Toot · 30/03/2011 21:10

I don't think the actor who plays the Dad quite fits. I think the stalker neighbour from next door would have been a better Dad and the Dad actor would make a better stalker.

clingingtosanity · 01/04/2011 16:09

I enjoyed this but agree with whatkungfuthat that TG doesn't quite 'fit' as a Mum to grown-up kids. Loved Grandma's House too.

Loved the one where they had to carry the drunk dog home from the pub; is the dog 'Wellard' off Eastenders ?

AitchTwoOh · 02/04/2011 12:02

i think it is unutterably SHIT, it's been recommissioned, though, so the viewing figures must have been okay.

kerstina · 02/04/2011 19:00

Well my 9 year old ds discovered this he was laughing so much so perhaps thats the target audience. I thought it was very funny in parts ,very silly but then I find Dick and Dom and big babies funny too !

whatwouldjonwindledo · 05/04/2011 13:34

I love it !

adalle · 13/04/2011 00:23

Oh the Bitch one was funny - loved it.

LaRagazzaInglese · 13/04/2011 22:04

This is the funniest bloody thing ever! can't believe it's finished already, the dad is the funniest, it's funny 'cause it's true, i watch it all again on 4OD "moronheads!" lollllll!!!!

motheroftwoboys · 11/05/2011 22:45

I know I am way behind but we had this recorded and have just caught up with it. Funniest thing I have seen in years. DH and I have (literally) cried with laughter at every episode. Just watched the Mercedes one. totally brilliant.

Mummyloveskisses · 12/05/2011 00:53
