loved the finalists and the winner - sweet

I thought the little Petit Basson that came reserve was such a sweet little dog. And her owner was so overjoyed, the actual winner was very calm about it. It annoyed me that he dosent actually look after the dog himself, and referred to the retriever as the dog. I think when the dog is part of the family and they feed it, care for it etc it means more.

You've got Jim wrong!

He's a friend of my family. He does look after the dogs. What he meant about Ian Ross is that he looks after the dogs for him while he is away. He shows alot.

It is very overwhelming being in the main ring. Even more so when you win something like that. Yes, Gavin's reaction looked better but it is one of those things that you just don't know what you'd say or do.

My brother was completely speechless when it happened to him.

If you watched Jim on Thursday when he was interviewed after winning the group he was just the same. He's a quiet, sensitive person. Definiately not a Whoop, Whoop sort of gent.

Oh ok sorry. Admittedly I only watched the final and not Thursday's show. Anyway great that he won, must be an amazing feeling :)

Glad a flattie won again - its been over 30 years - lovely, lovely dogs. Just lost my old girl at 15 - never stopped wanting to fetch even when she could barely stand up. Hope they dont get too popular and overbred though now.

He did a grand job given these dogs never grow up!

Well, it goes to show I was wrong! I didn't even know! Ian is the pet owner of jet according to Jim who has just been on daybreak!

I loved the flat coat too but Jilly with her smile was soooo cute!

Not as cute as my 8m old vizsla but still
