Did anyone see When Teenages Meet Old Age?

Just saw the third episode of the above prog. did anyone else see it? i really enjoyed it although a bit cringeworthy at times. I felt both sad and angry when one of them called his father that he never saw and asked if he could have a relationship with him to be told (by father) that he needed to think about it pretty much, i felt so sorry for him, really sad.

I did. Sobbed my way through last ep, glad some of them stayed in contact :)

Yes thught it was a really good series. The old lady who went to stay with the black girl and her family was so terribly bigoted though.

That was when i was cringing, when she was saying how different 'they' were and how she didn't know how they could live here. i think the girl (can't remember her name) deserved a medal for not losing it in her own home and not saying anything although she did in an articulate way in the park later. the lady was quite snobby and moody in general, remember how she was watching her in the first episode when she was doing her housework. i wouldn't have wanted her in my home, i think she would have found something to criticise in anyone.

I saw the prog and the one when they went to Polzeath on holiday.
Think the older lady's name was Magaret and she really opened up to the younger girl when they were on holiday together and actually you got to understand her and actually like her.(Her husband had left her) I think if you only saw the last episode you would perhaps not have the same sympathy for her. I think she was brave to stay with the family it would have been a real culture shock to her.
Fantastic series though and love the way both old and young just saw the people and not their age when they got to know them.
