I'm loving it - but anything jimmy nesbitt is in would be good for me!!!! Blush How many surgeons do you think shave the patient themselves?!!!

piratecat · 10/03/2011 22:06

that was great!! i don't watch much tv, and tend to get rather fidgety and have to be drawn in quite quickly for anything to hold my interest.

really enjoyed it.

Chooshoes · 10/03/2011 22:08

Yes me too - I shall be watching next time!

maryjane71 · 10/03/2011 22:26

I enjoyed it too. But not convinced re: Sarah Parish's character. Trying too hard to be ....I'm not sure Confused

FoiledAgain · 10/03/2011 23:08

I wish they hadn't used J Nesbitt - I find him really irritating.

Punkatheart · 10/03/2011 23:16

It's House. Bad House. They have even stolen some of the lines.

Poor show.

Squitten · 11/03/2011 07:35

I love House so was wondering if this would be very dodgy but I found I quite like it actually.

JeffVadar · 11/03/2011 08:39

We gave up halfway through. I prefer my arrogant consultants to be cool and silky - like Anton Meyer.

piratecat · 11/03/2011 09:39

have never seen House so to me it was all new, can understand the annoyance if it's much the same then.

olijackmum · 11/03/2011 16:52

I really enjoyed ti , I must admit dont really watch much tv but I really enjoyed that and cant wait for next week

bettys · 12/03/2011 18:08

It's filmed in my old school so I'm going to have to watch it now, even though I don't really like James Nesbitt.

grumpypants · 12/03/2011 18:11

but have you ever had an NHS consultant sit and chat/ reveal their emotional side/ text your partner for you/ stroke your head?

vjg13 · 12/03/2011 20:06

Bettys, where is your old school? One of the things I liked most about it was the lovely building, it reminded me of one of the first hospitals I worked.

I quite liked it despite hating James Nesbitt and loving House. Grin

Chooshoes · 12/03/2011 20:12

Just read something about it a TV mag at my PIL, it was filmed in yorkshire in Leed General Infirmary and an old building that was Leeds Girls High School?? I think.

bettys · 12/03/2011 23:28

Yes, it's filmed in what was Leeds Girls' High School before they moved to Alwoodley, They've added tiles to the walls to make it all hospital-y but they've used the assembly hall with balconies and other bits are very familiar. Quite strange to see it like that.
Wonder what they did with the library, it had original Mouseman carvings in it.
