Bex is 18 and her sis jess is 16.

They mentioned she went missing for 2 years so she is now redoing her gcse's.

I wish my secondary school was like that.

Just a shame they are using actors who are much older than they are in the show. last night chesney from shameless was in it and it put me off a little.

I think they have to, considering the nature of the storyline. I feel like one of those mothers who banned their children from watching Grange Hill - but I dislike the show and really don't like my daughter watching it. I think that the mother's reaction to her daughter doing porn and then running away was unrealistic. How many of us would react like that? Oh dear, I think I may be getting older! I don't like the teacher-pupil sleeping together either - her guilt-free attitude does not ring true. At all.

I thought Bex was 16 which is why the boyfriend could get done for underage sex if she went missing at 14.

alot of dd's friends are not allowed to watch it but dd will be 13 next month and we do have a laugh at how unrealistic it is.

although 2 teachers at dd's school were caught having an affair just before xmas, 1 used to be a drug addict but i'm not sure it's common knowledge (i knew her sister at school)and then you have the ones whos who congrigate for a fag a at breaktime behind the shed in the garden.
