Why is it not on tonight?
haven't we still got to see him marry Katherine Parr and die??????????

I think it's because it's world book night on bbc 2 this week.

No Tudors tonight? I was looking forward to it! Bollocks to book night.

No, thankfully! I got my mum to check her radio times and last weeks was episode 6 of 10 I think. I think it's not on tonight because of World Book Day that's all.

LOL at "marry Katherine Parr and die", that's exactly what I said to DH although he thinks there might be a few more episodes dealing with the upcoming war with France...

Oh and a bollocks from me to by publishers for publishers World Book Day too!

I'm hoping they'll extend it and carry on into Edward's reign and beyond. All the key players are there and its not like the story got boring after Henry died...still lots of sex and death!!

It was pointed out on the other Tudors thread by clever posters that combining Henry's 2 sisters into one messes up the next generation of characters.
I was looking forward to it as well - my fave programme.

I have to say the hanging,drawing,quartering scene was one of the great throw up moments so far....left me with horrible images all night!

yes it was totally brutal

I thought Cromwell's execution was bad, but this time I really felt they went one step too far with Derham's execution. Totally unnecessary. And I was only listening to it - I had my eyes firmly fixed on the laptop while it was on!

I thought Culpepper's was brutal as well even though there have been beheadings before.

I had a feeling it would be bad when they went out of their way to make culpepper and Derham so unlikable.

But I too was watch from behing my eyes.

Just brings home what a brutal time it was
