Where are the kids in the soaps?

Does anyone else ever get annoyed at the soaps?

Who the heck is looking after all the kids that we never see when most of the adults are in the pub or at work or in the street?

Agreed - where is Roxie's Amy, most of the time? Bobby can't be at school 24 hours a day....???

What happened to Tanya's baby?

Maybe they are all upstairs listening to records. Isn't that where Tracy Barlow spent her childhood?

slartybartfast · 05/03/2011 17:41

that is such gripe of mine.

where is the XXXX baby???

sparklyblack · 05/03/2011 17:41

Yeah it's very weird. And when Roxy is asked if she wants to go out, sometimes she says 'no, can't, I've got Amy tonight' and I always think Hmm where is Amy on the other nights?

when i was watching Marchlands, a serious Ghost story in 6 parts, I bored myself wondering why she wasnt looking after her baby herself.

cookielove · 05/03/2011 21:05

Yes i believe Amy is in one of those 24 hour nurseries Hmm

And Tanya's baby, max had no imput in his first year but yet seems all attached to him whenever he's around. Your a stranger to him ...... or am i the only one who finds that wierd?

Tracy did a lot of homework iirc... Surprised she didn't get into Oxford, to be honest.

cos children and particularly babies are hugely expensive and can work only very limited hours. To be avoided like the plague. Along with dogs. Grin

The playgroup in Emmerdale seem to be open 24 hours a day
