Hello all, just watched it on Sky +, then read this thread. Wouldn't want you all to think I was fickle, and just swanned in and out again.

Some of your mutterings v similar to DH and mine, esp the Apprentice type format.

Thought I was the only person who didn't know who everyone was by now - I have mild face blindness and hate programmes where they put a name caption up for people at the start of the series and then I'm supposed to know who they are. At least last week they showed the food people had made as they were discussed - last year I was reduced to writing notes on who had cooked what, as I remember people by their food IYSWIM

Another thing that had me shouting at the TV was this strange idea that just because people have a load of dosh to spend and are 'used to the very best' that this is somehow even more reason to produce perfection.

Did a lot of shouting at Michel Roux's service for its similar attitude.
