In corrie, Maria now has her job but where did she go?

She went on the cruise with whatshisname.

Written out very quickly as she had to go on mat leave unexpectedly.

off to somewhere or other with Kieran who got a dream job somewhere or other - I think maybe as a chef on a cruise ship? Not sure in real life what's happening to them - Boyzown - not sure how you spell that!! are on tour I think so he'll be busy, not sure what she's up to

They were going to be giving Michelle that storyline with the dodgy factory customer (according to This Morning soap person) but it looks like they have rehashed it for Maria.

Yes, they were I believe. Had to change because she ended up in hospital.

I do love Corrie but they didn't put much thought into this did they? I know Kym Marsh had to leave quickly but would Maria and Carla really work together after sharing various husbands and boyfriends so often?

Not really enjoying the whole thing of women having to flirt and put up with slimy blokes at work stuff.

I guess they had to continue the storyline with someone else and Maria fitted the bill.

I think that actor (business man maria has to flirt with) played a date rape thing in Angels many years ago. (nurses programme). Although he might not be old enough.

Anyway, yes Kim Marsh had a baby early so had to leave unexpectedly.
