This weeks episode of Shameless has really freaked me

I was only half watching , as I was Mumsnetting at the same time. Ive only just got into the series , so I dont know much about the background of the characters , but the part week when the poor girl goes off the balcony has really stayed with me this week. It keeps popping into my head. It is all so well written and filmed , but sometimes its so dark isnt it ? Nothing left to the imagination ! I just needed to mention it to someone to get it off my chest I think. Dont know anyone who watches it in RL.

It was a strange episode really.

Yes this weeks episode was darker in tone than usual but do keep with it as it is really very good although not for the easily shocked as there is lots of sex drugs and violence in it. But the characters are so well written you really get into the story lines even if the characters protrayed are the worst kind of so called 'council scum'But is is great and tackles hard hitting issues at the same time as entertaining. Me and DH have watched it from the very beginning and the quality of the writing and acting is always top notch. I don't know if any of the old series are available online but it may be worth taking look at them aswell.
