Hi there,

DH and I are just catching up on the excellent Human Planet series. I see that the 'Jungles' episode warns of upsetting scenes.

I am currently pregnant (overdue..!) so very emotional and wondered whether anybody could advise me of the nature of these scenes so that I can make am informed decision regarding whether or not to watch.

Many thanks!

I watched it and aside from a few boiled monkeys it was fine, oh and if you don't like the idea of barbecued tarantulas you might need the fast-forward button Wink

This series is incredible. Absolutely loving it and so are both dcs. Can't remember anything distressing in that episode.

Go for it - might bring the labour on! Good luck!

Thank you! Sounds fine- was just concerned it may involve young children.

It is such a fabulous series. The BBC at its absolute best.

Gaaaaaaaah I HATE it when they show native tribespeople catching and cooking tarantulas

I like tarantulas. Poor things.

They should set up a nice Macdonalds in the jungle and then this wouldn't happen.
