I'm needing to be filled in on why the husband has been kicked out lol

You have missed a few episodes. Husband has been kicked out, because as she told her son, she only wanted to raise one kid and chose him. I think she had just had enough of his childish feckless ways.

Oh right, is it also to do with he thinks shes having an affair?

Well yes I guess he thinks she is having an affair with her doctor. But that is only because the husband is trying to rationalise the reason that she chucked him out.
