Teenage to old age...

...or whatever it was called, on just now on BBC2. What an utterly brilliant programme - should be required viewing in all secondary schools and care homes! I would love community service to be brought in for teenagers -I think a lot of our social problems would be eased.

Anyone else see it?

I watched it I thought it was brilliant and agree I think community service should be brought in for teenagers. Just a week maybe, but then some kind of small benefit for those who continue with it for example?

Everyone keeps banging on about how the population is ageing and more and more people will live to be over 100 so these skills will become vital as well as socially responsible.

I have did quite a bit of voluntary work when I was a teenager and would really like my DS to do the same but it is often really difficult to find good schemes/ways to do this and I guess we are hindered by our health and safety and legal systems

Will definitely be watching next week!
