Did anyone else watch this?

Scott Mills went to Uganda, where they are currently debating an anti gay bill which will mean that being gay could end you up in jail, or sentenced to death for "repeat offenders".

Apparently it is illegal to be gay in at least 35 countries in Africa... and that's before we get to the middle east etc.

No I missed it but I am going to watch on Iplayer, Scott Mills was talking about it on his show when I was on the way home last night and it just sounded unbelievable.

Wow... just watched it, it's so incredibly sad and the group living in the slums were so amazingly strong with all they have to face.
It was sad to see them get so excited over a couple of blankets and a camping stove :(

The MP at the end was just horrific, I know it was nervous laughter but it seemed like it was all a big joke to him.

I watched it, couldnt believe some of it. That would just never happen in this country.

I felt so sorry for the ones who had to live in hiding.

I didnt even know Scott Mills is gay, only found out because of this programme!

Me to re: Scott being gay! And everyone in work laughed at me aparently as it's obvious! Glad I have an ally!
