Do you think those Sky Atlantic programmes will eventually make it to a free-to-view channel? I'm hoping for Boardwalk Empire, Treme, Modern Family... We don't watch enough TV to justify getting a Sky sub but some of those Atlantic channel shows look mouthwatering!

It is only available on Sky to those customers with HD so I think it is going to be a long time before it hits FTV.

We don't have HD and get it on 'normal' sky. The programmes on Atlantic are brilliant though.

aaah, I didn't realise. We only seem to have the HD option.

I have BT Vision and it is available on that.

Boardwalk empire is being repeated on sky 3 Grin (which is on freeview and Virgin).

all the HD channels have been moved to the beginning of the tv guide, and the normal channels have moved a long way down, i still record everything on the normal channels as it takes up less space, and we only got HD because it was free!

The Sky 3 repeats are "Free pass" weekends though, I think - not a regular occurence (unless someone knows better). I didn't realise BT Vision has Sky Atlantic - my mum gets BT Vision. I can get her to record some episodes :-)

I heard that Sky Atlantic is soon to become a subscription-only channel anyway, anyone else this?
