I'm watching! Loved little Octavia and Two's Company were amazing - how flexible are they?!

I can't help but think the show has too much emphasis on the Street Dance side of things. I'd like to see more variation as it seems like there are 2 or 3 street dance acts in each of the semi finals.

I'd love to see more ballroom and Latin representation, but I'm biased!

My daughter loves Olivia even though she does freestyle and should be backing twos company :).
I agree about street I hoe a comtemporary dancer wins this year. Been very few ballroom and latin dancers again :( maybe next year all areas of dance will be represented.

I still think the contemporary dancer Matthew should have won last year. I'm not normally a contemporary fan but he converted me and watching him dance made me want to cry it was so beautiful.

Lauren was fab tonight too.

Personally I think the competition is between the two acts that went through in the first week - Chris & Wes and the contemporary couple (I can't remember their name )

Love this program and my 4yo dd didn't stop "dancing" whilst it was on.

I thought it was a tough week this week. I really liked Octavia, Two's company, Tap Attack and Lauren.

Anything with Adam Garcia and Ashley Banjo on it is a "must see" in my book

Was miffed Two's Company went through. Yes, they're amazing, but I don't like all the bendy show-offy stuff. There is absolutely no heart in their dancing at all. Loved Tap Attack as they were really entertaining. So glad Lauren went through as she is incredible, so moving. Octavia should have gone through - what a poppet, and again, really moving. I wanted Ella (Ellie? The one with the crazy hair and unbelievably self-sacrificing parents) to go through last week or week before - gutted!

I really liked Ellie as well. I can't believe her parents have lived in a Travellodge for the last year. Talk about dedication

My girls & I really liked Octavia this week. Wonder why she didn't connect to the voters?
While I liked Ella last week, she didn't wow me as much as her audition did.
Overall the standard in the semis is pretty high, so they are enjoyable to watch. I'm looking forward to the final already!

Cavemum, I loved Matthews audition, probably best of all the dancing last season. It was his routine that lost it for him in finale. All that dancing around the cage thingy didn't show off his beautiful dancing as it needed to. And he looked great during that special dance with the finalists from last year!

i agree about matthew's audition, it was so lovely. would have liked him to win, although akai is cute

I just loved RazzleDazzle. And Trinity Warriors were amazing. I really liked the Bollywood troupe too. Standard is high in the semis.

Am really looking forward to the final next week.

What did you all think of the final?
I wasn't expecting RazzelDassle to get into top 3, but delighted for them that they did. I could only choose top 2.
Delighted for Chris & Wes, they are such great performers and dancers. Alieviate (?) were great too. But preferred their earlier routine to the final one.
Waiting for SYTYCD UK to start now!

I too was surprised by Razzle Dazzle being in the final 3. I was torn between Chris & Wes and Alleviate. Chris & Wes made me laugh and were fantastic dancers but Alleviate gave me goosebumps. Looking forward to SYTYCD too. I also had a peek at the US version of Got To Dance but not sure I can get hooked. No Ashley or Adam

I watched US version on my laptop already. I am a total dance nut. But I much preferred the UK version, especially the judges/Davina.
SYTYCD US is my fav dance show, but I'm expecting that the bar will be raised for S2 UK, as it was for S2 in SYTYCD US and Canada.

I thought, on the back of the auditions, that Trinity Warriors would win as their semi-final dance was amazing. Perhaps they were disadvantaged by only going through a week before the final and not having as long as the others to put together and polish a new routine.
