Yes, same Peter Barlow, and his son Simon is the child Lucy (now deceased) who he married just before he was married bigamously to Shellie.

I'm hoping for the same as Onimolap - big bust up tonight followed by gradual reconciliation by Royal Wedding Day. Peter was a first class shit to Shelley, but seems to have reformed. Funny how characters can change so much in soap land.

I actually can't watch this. I'm sick of Leanne getting the sad stories. Why would Peter willingly hand her over to greaseball Nick? Why would he do that to Simon?

I love Corrie but much as I admired the tram storylines it's lost its sense of humour. If I wanted to watch wall to wall misery I'd switch to Eastenders.

Yes, I miss Blanche's one liners. Ashley's cheeky smile. Tyrone being happy & funny. It's been a bit too gloomy for too long now.
