Um... did anyone watch Shameless last night?

Just watched it on Sky+ and am a bit :-/ at the scene at the end where whatsername mimicked stabbing a baby in a cot whilst dressed as Myra Hindley.

Am I missing something?

I'm not that keen on it anymore (DP loves it) but that last night just proved that it's jumped the shark.
