It is great- have watched about 9 episodes now, and I really like it.

The first episode is a bit slow, but stick with it.

Stick with it, there's lots of character & plot.

Brilliant watching ep 2 now.

I have just watched the second one. Very good indeed.

Although the number of naked breasts was astronomical. Just like the Bada Bing all over again.

loving it - great sets/costumes etc. they have really caught the 1920's sort of vibe I think.

A quick glimpse of the dude that played omar in the wire but that was all hope he is in it more later.
Other than that thought it was great

Omar (Chalky) features heavily in episode 3, I think, and again a couple of eps later.
There is a lot of nudity , but as dh (an expert in these things) pointed out- mostly fairly natural looking, not silicon!!

i wathced only two episodes, relishing the thought of a series written by such great people, staring Omar ... but after 2 episodes i binned it becuase i couldn't watch any more shitty shit

Have seen the whole series and loved it - slow to start but really grips you.

There was a good programme about the development of Atlantic City and how the boardwalk came about to accompany the start of the series too - I'm sure it will be repeated. In episode 1 of Boardwalk Empire Nooky looks in the window of a unit on the boardwalk showing incubator babies, and I thought that must be based on fact as it seemed so bizarre, then sure enough there was a bit about it in the Atlantic City programme.

QUESTION! I have only just realised that this started this week- Is there a repeat/catch-up do-dah on Sky Atlantic- Ive missed the first 2 episodes :(

Just caught up with this last night.

Loved it, got the whole vibe, the sets, costumes, music.

Can't wait till next week. I already have a soft spot for Jimmy. Although he will probably turn into a nasty character at some point.

AmberLilly - Wed 9th at 10:30pm looks like it's a repeat of episode 1, then Thurs 10th at 12am is episode 2 I think (just going by the titles, my system doesn't number the episodes)

On episode 2, loving it so far. Steve B is fanfuckingtastic.

Having trouble figuring out who everyone is as they all wear hats a lot. Guess it will take a while, bit like the Wire where it took me about 5 episodes to really know wtf was going on

I quite like oggling the boobs especially, as someones husband kindly pointed out, they do look natural. They kind of bring back memories of been 20something and having full knockers in the right place. I have serious boob envy

I'm loving it, and I think that a few of the episodes are still on Anytime. Although was quite suprised at the amount of nudity - I thought that it was passe?
