Didnt anyone watch it - orginial footage of Joy and George. I sobbed all the way through and still sad now. What absolute amazing people who did so much for the lions the compassion, and truely the devotion that they had for Africa. Even the lions turning up after George's funeral..amazing.

One of the best things I have seen for a long time.

Please watch on i-player. You wont be disappointed when you see Joy and the lions so affectionate towards each other.

For those of you that love the story of Joy and Elsa, I highly recommend that you read The Spotted Sphinx which is about a cheetah cub that Joy raised and successfully released back into the wild.
