Can I PLEASE urge you to set the Sky Plus/generic hard disk recorder and record it from the start when it begins shortly on Sky Atlantic.

It is not just some geeky adolesent boys sci-fi thing. It is an allegory on the war on terror with some fantastic acting and really worth a watch. Promise.

I feel like I should do you all this service!

I refused to watch this for ages insisting that my DH was a geek, but then one christmas I ended up watching an episode when I was poorly and unable to move from the sofa and became absolutely hooked. I absolutely LOVE this series and can't believe I insisted it was rubbish for so long . Definitely worth a watch - even if it's only to gawp at Jamie Bamber ...
