Got to Dance and young vulnerable contestants

I have just been watching the little boy dancing to Barcelona.

It was incredibly uncomfortable viewing and yet he is very talented and watching his performance was quite moving especially when you knew the story.

But he is very young and vulnerable. Perhaps too vulnerable for honest feedback and if that is the case should he be on a show like this?

I am an episode behind but IMO the judges on got to dance are very supportive and encouraging, much more so than, eg, the x factor. Hopefully that makes it a more positive experience for people involved.

Yes I agree with you . There does not seem to be anyone playing a pantomime villain. This one event did jar with me though.

I saw it too. And I too really really like the judges on the show - every one of them.

I think he was spoken to with respect and honesty, and although I am a long way from totally comfortable with these panel show type judging things, it was the best it could be iykwim.

On another note, Davinia has finally overdone the botox Sad
