It seems like ages. I hope she comes off it.

They took her off the ventilator but she had difficulty breathing and had to go back on.

It does seem ages. Like you, I hope she survives - there have been too many deaths on Corrie lately.

if they do it realistically she will probably have problems. Its been weeks now. I hope it turns out well for Fizz!

It has been a very long time - coming up for eight weeks i think - and TBH it seems a little long given her gestation - she was a 28 weeker IIRC.

My DS2 was a 28 weeker and was only ventalated for a week, then on C-pap, then in air. But then, we knew he was coming early so had time to have steroid injections to help mature his lungs, but obviously Hope's birth was very traumatic and quick.

Or maybe i'm just overthinking it.

I heard that fizz finds out all about john andhis murder spree and some how realises that Joy hadlots of money and steals it for Hope.

This week, the doctor reported they'd found a hole in her heart. Would that diagnosis really take this long?

Has John actually murdered anyone? Neither Fishwick was murdered (though thebway John was holding Mrs Fishwick was probably a contributory factor in her death from that heart attack), and the mad Charlotte was self-defence.

Omni - my memory's a little hazy, but iirc DS2 had a heart scare at about this age. Something to do with a ventracle closing over at birth that didn't because of premness. Quite common in prems iirc.

Fizz now has a baby? Blimey.
Who's the father, Milo? Or Jake?

Sorry, wrong show.

onimolap · 30/01/2011 12:19

I knew it was common. I was just a bit surprised that it was only spotted after 8(?) weeks in ICU.

deemented · 30/01/2011 12:26

It's as the baby gets bigger they expect it to close, but sometimes it doesnt.

I see! Thanks.

Still quite late though! If that's the case then she will be thriving by next week. I wonder if they are going to show her as having any effects frombeing ventilated for so long? Will they use an ex premmie?
