Eastenders, 2 Questions

Firstly, when is Ronnie going to return Kat's baby to her? I thought they were going to cut the storyline short.

Secondly, Alfie went to register Tommy's birth and put his Cousin down as the father. I thought in order to name the father on a Birth Certificate, the father has to be present. Am I correct in this thinking?

I think its due to end in April(?) when Samantha Womack leaves - it was due to run until at least the end of the year so they have cut it short, they have also redone alot of scenes they thought would be 'too distressing'.

I was wondering this too, but I don't remember having to take any ID when we registered DS, so theorhetically (sp) we could have been anyone Shock. I guess Alfie just said he was his Cousin. Confused

I haven't understood something - I thought Alfie was the father!! I agree Mondami - otherwise you could write anybody down as the Dad! By the way missed last nights - did Bianca kill Connor or something?

When we registered our son, I now remember they said his father would have to be present if he wanted to be named on the certificate and we had to produce our passports on the day of registry.

If the parents are married then only one needs to register the birth with both names. If they are unmarried they both need to be present in order to get both names on the certificate.

As for random cousins being named...no idea. But it is Eastenders...clearly they aren't fussed by legalities or y'know, being realistic...Hmm
