yes amongst other things also had experiment with baby/mask. (old footage)

i imagine it's on watch again was part of bbc four brain season. gotta love bbcfour

aah the human brain secret history...have recorded ep2, saw it on sky anytime, only seen first 15mins or so...had to run off to do the school run!

It was nasty to watch, poor baby Albert. Poor monkeys. :(

Was going to post about this, poor baby Albert, it really upset me. The monkeys bit was sad, but what they did to that baby was awful.

Actually, I couldn't sleep last night thinking about Albert! I had to get up, come downstairs and have a drink and read for a bit to take it off my mind at 1.40am!!

I had to look away at baby Albert, I had seen the still photo where he was looking so scared and I couldn't face the video. Had to get DH to tell me when it was over.

The monkey one where they scared him and he ran to the cuddly one made me cry....

I find it weird just how much we take for granted today, regarding attachment and bonding etc comes from this sort of thing, and so relatively recent too - like how they only realised that kids copy what they see adults doing. It's SO obvious to us, but only got 'discovered' or proved about 40/50 years ago.....
