I am really surprised that the cost of living is cheaper here.

If anyone heads to Australia with the thought that the cost of living is cheap they are deluded.

Australian cost of living is huge with the only exception being fuel.

Sorry, UK. I spent some time in Byron Bay in 2003 and found food and rent expensive.
