Tormented new bloke has life righted.

Loved all the clothes as usual.

i feel we may see more of Edmund and Sidney this time around. Is it true Dawn French is coming back into it?

Edmund pretended he hadn't done well in his exams as he didn't want to be a lawyer like his mum wanted him to be. He wanted to be gamekeeper at the big 'ouse. They said no but when they found out there's alot of admin etc. involved they let him do it. So he's apprentice gamekeeper / groundsman etc.

Not alot of social mobility on old Lark rise is there?

saw it for the first time and thought it was quite hammy, we kept looking at the green wing guy and thinking he was about to come out with something filthy

has it not always been like this then? I don't know how I've missed it, it feels like it has been on for years

I missed most of the last series, and I love the fact that it's possible to drop in and out like that and still know what's going on!

But yes, I agree that those charming character traits are gradually becoming more exaggerated.

I usually enjoy it but I was bored senseless by the first episode of the new series.
