Have no idea but think it seems to have been done really well.

I was hoping that the illness could be used to her advantage, so when he becomes helpless she could stand over him and laugh and refuse to help him.

Sorry, obviously illness is serious n all but I would have little sympathy for someone like him and would think it a blessing that illness rendered him unable to continue to beat her up.

Sadly I have read on the net today that he is going to kill her. I really hope not, but I suppose it will be a depiction of reality, i.e. that two women a week are killed by a partner.
