Gutted Rob Lowe won't be on it anymore

What happened at the end of last season, can anyone remember?

There was a big pile up on the motorway, they were all coming back from somewhere in different cars and some of them crashed. Rob Lowes character dies not sure about anyone else.

Oh and Saul found out he had hiv.

couldnt believe about the accident :(

I read than it doesn't start from the accident but something like 1yr after it. I think Kitty gets a love interest fairly soon. I'll miss RL, really missed him in WW too; Not just as eye candy but I find him quite a good actor too esp in these type of roles.

I also read that they were considering having him appear in a couple of 'flashback' espisodes where Kein finds out exactly what the secret meeting were about.

I am up to date with it in the US- it's still pretty good but it's obvious they did the 1year passing thing just to shake things up a bit- it was in danger of running out of possibilities. One of my favourite things on tv. They seem to have sorted out the annoying thing of the music being constantly too loud so you could't hear the dialogue.

Great news. That background easy listening music was awful. Sometimes I used to put on the subtitles and mute the volume as I hated that music so much. The fast forward is a good idea. Wasn't looking forward to lots of angst-filled hospital scenes - saying that I bet they have a few of those with Saul this season

Why would they? he's hiv positive, hasnt got full blown aids and I dont think he was damaged in the crash.

I just cant wait to say bye bye to Rebecca, the most annoying person in it.

Just caught up on season 4 will be very sad to see RL go, should have been Kitty. But I can see why not. Poor Saul, kind of inevitable I guess. What's happening to Rebecca? No I don't want to know!

I missed season 4, do you know if it's going to be repeated any time before they show the new series? It used to be on weekdays in the mornings. I love this show!

Ahhhh noooo am not impressed to hear that Rob Lowe is not going to be on it anymore.

I really want to watch this as for some reason never managed to catch the first 3 seasons (not even on DVD) so what do you think: Can I watch it for the first time on 20th January and not watched seasons 1 through 3??

orissiah - you probably could catch up (PS, I think its actually series 5)... but it would be such a waste cos 1-4 are sooooo good. Why dont you record this season and get the boxset and watch first.
