I know Glee is back on the 10th, Good Wife is in a few days, Skins is back 'soon' according to E4.

Any new ones about? We've been looking for CSI/NCIS as well, but can never tell with those.

Anything I might be missing?

Yep,... There's a new series with Tamsin Greig, Stephen Mangan and Matt le Blanc called Episodes. It starts on BBC 2 next week. Tuesday I think...
Can't wait to see Glee as well, even though I've already sneakily watched it on the internet Blush

JarethTheGoblinKing · 04/01/2011 19:54

Looks promising, thanks for that.

I'm literally counting the days to Glee - how sad am I Grin

Grey's Anatomy back tomorrow.

When does House start again?

pythonmum · 04/01/2011 20:00

CSI NY new series on Universal channel Tues 8pm but can't work out if it's a new, new series or one I've seen before and just new to them. Think it's series 3 if that helps.

Must be some new things starting soon as so many things finished just before Christmas

Mrsfred · 04/01/2011 20:01

Brothers & Sisters starts again this week.

HoorahHilda · 04/01/2011 20:01

Lead Balloon is apparently coming up series 4 . It is really good . Jack Dee.

JarethTheGoblinKing · 04/01/2011 20:12

Ah sorry, should have said we only have freeview so no new House/up to date CSI for me :(

Anybody know if V or The Event are starting up again anytime soon?

OP posts:
llareggub · 04/01/2011 20:14

I think V has been cancelled. I'm sure I remember reading that The Event will be back in March but I'm sure I'll have forgotten all about it by then.

badgerhead · 04/01/2011 20:28

CSI NY starts Saturday on Channel 5 9.40 season 7
Bones is coming back on Living not sure when yet

CSI next Tuesday
Criminal Minds from Friday on Living 9p.m.

MadameCastafiore · 04/01/2011 20:31

There is a website called ch131 which you can watch the shows aired in the states on so have already watche dmost of the next series of Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives.

Just steer clear of the films - think the feds would track you down and take you down!

JarethTheGoblinKing · 04/01/2011 21:56

Thanks Madame. I know of some of the catchup sites, but hate watching things on my laptop. When we get a decent TV it'll be fine as I'll be able to plug it in but for now we rely on our crappy freeview+

thanks all for taking the time to reply..

I'm sure there's a mysterious series out there somewhere that I'm missing.. any ideas anybody?

Stilla · 05/01/2011 15:39

OOOh yes Being Human - the ads say soon , the rumours say 23rd Jan .Wink

Indith · 05/01/2011 15:48

Hustle on Friday, may not be what you are looking for but I think it is still a bit of a giggle.

Pinkjenny · 05/01/2011 15:55

Brothers and Sisters is still 'coming soon....' according to the trailers. I am ridiculously excited about Glee, ANTM, Greys, 90210, Dancing on Ice, The Rachel Zoe Project....

UnquietDad · 05/01/2011 15:55

Series 6 (32) of Doctor Who in March (or April)...

Outcasts looks as if it might be interesting... It was going to be part of the autumn line-up (in the Survivors slot?) but they held it back.

NetworkGuy · 05/01/2011 17:55

NCIS Series 7 starts TONIGHT 21:00 on Five

Has Five /FiveUSA played many of NCIS: Los Angeles (first series, second series is part way through in the USA right now) ?

UnquietDad · 05/01/2011 17:57

That's the one in which David McCallum - not looking a day over 60 even though he is 76 (?)- plays a character who is called "Ducky" because his surname is Mallard, right? Oh, my sides :)

NetworkGuy · 05/01/2011 19:26

Yes, that's the one. While I can see your laughter is aimed at the daft name, I have to say that for 76 he seems to be doing fine.

Perhaps the cash these TV actors earn helps them enjoy their time off screen... not just him but Pauley Perette from NCIS, Sharon Gless in Burn Notice, and Khandi Alexander from CSI: Miami are all quite a bit older than they look...

vnmum · 05/01/2011 19:31

networkguy NCIS Los Angeles has been aired on sky1. they are halfway through season 2 at the mo i think, they are either waiting for it to resume or it may have finished already.

TRUEBLOOD season 3 is starting on FX on the 14th jan

NetworkGuy · 05/01/2011 20:21

Thanks vnmum - I suppose it was near the end of season 6 when they introduced the LA crew, and I may have seen some episodes 'off the internet' before they were on Sky.

I don't have Sky at present, and depending on their prices, might never get it again!

(Although the Freeview via Sky option might be a reasonable way for me to get a Sky box and sat dish installed, so I can use FreeSat in every other room, without paying Sky for extras.)
