You know that big computer thing they have on the wall in the hospital?? The one that they are able to access all info at the touch of a finger??

Do they actually really exist? It all looks a bit 'modern'. Im sure its not that advanced???

Isn't it just like a smartboard as used in classrooms ? Preusmably teh photos and documents and reports are held electronically on a hard drive/laptop. whether it is the norm in path labs I wouldn't know !

Shows how techno minded I am. I was amazed at all the 'touching the screen' stuff.

I am an old dinosaur. Literally.

The shame.

DH assures me his smartboard is not that cool!

I've been wondering the same thing myself - it certainly looks more like the sort of thing you'd see on Star Trek than in a real-life pathology lab.

I mean, they just touch it with a finger and it moves around! I've never seen anything like it, and I've worked in some pretty high-tech offices...

i thought it was just like a huge ipad
