NY Eve TV Crap or what

As we were not feeling great decided to pass up on going to a friends party and celebrate NY Eve at home

Switched on the TV expecting live coverage of celebrations from London or Scotland I got a choice of Graham Norton, in my opinion an very average host and a commedian that can occasionally raise a smile

Some sort of chat on BBC2, a film on ITV and as I carried on flicking through my 100 + channels it became apparent it was all crap

yep completely agree, infact ITV even had the news on at midnight!

I really enjoyed the Gerard Kelly tribute, tears of laughter at some points and of course Only an Excuse. I don't like or follow football but that show is brilliant, even more so for being on only once a year.

Okaren, I take it you're not in Scotland? I thought the Scottish schedule was better than normal. The usual stuff plus gerard kelly, then Edinburgh fireworks etc at midnight, then we had Graham Norton after all this, so it was some light entertainment if you wanted to stay up a bit longer.

After at least a week of being up until 5, 6, or 7 am I went to bed early on NYE, did briefly hear some fireworks, but was told that London celebrations were on TV (though it may have been a small portion on a news programme perhaps).

Did glance at www.tvguide.co.uk but remember nothing really special I wanted to watch...
