After Tyrone finding out about little Jack I feel abit deflated. I thought it was going to be the Christmas day storyline. I dont think the rumours about Kevin going for custody look about to happen anytime soon do you?

I know Tracey is coming back, is that going to be the Christmas drama?

i am sure that tracey comes back and she is attcked/ killed on christmas day

dobbydies · 20/12/2010 22:50

Is itme or is the whol john/colin storyline becomming more borin and farfetched by the minute. Corrie has proved it can do better than this.

Bomper · 21/12/2010 09:46

Hate the John/Colin storyline, hope it will disappear soon and never be spoken of again. A bit like the Ryan/Michelle son swapping storyline!!

madamehooch · 22/12/2010 08:23

I'm hoping the big Christmas story line is that Peter Barlow develops complications as a result of his injuries, becomes allergic to clothes and has to walk around naked for ever more!

gregssausageroll · 22/12/2010 13:36

The Tracey Storyline for the next 6 months is to be big. She sleeps with both Nick and David next week and there is a huge brawl with Gail over it.

thenightsky · 22/12/2010 13:37

Oh yes.. Michelle and the 'wrong' son story... how come they have all forgotten that?

MrsDingDongMerrily · 22/12/2010 19:20

Uurgh, I can't imagine anything much worse than sleeping with either Nick or David, letalone both.

kittya · 22/12/2010 22:22

oh, I miss it so much when its not on!! I hate having the gap until Thursday!

Do they actually know where they are going with the whole John storyline at this point? (and does anyone actually care?).

Because it seems like they have no clue how to end that story and the writers just keep adding preposterous twists to it and hoping someone else will find a way to end it.

Having the tram kill John/Colin would have been great - Corrie couldve advertised that as a double death.

onimolap · 26/12/2010 18:56

Well, the general morality rule is that, in soaps, killers never get away with it, though it can take time for Nemesis to reach them. Do we yet know if Hope is going to be OK?

lovinme · 26/12/2010 19:07

well I read that Tyrone and Sally start sleeping with each other over the new year don't no if that's true though,I hope it's not....

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 26/12/2010 19:12

Which son lives with Michelle now - the wrong one or the biological one - I have got rather confused over this.

And the John/Colin storyline is terrible!

Re soap killers never getting away with it, Stacey just has in EE hasn't she?

mumatron · 26/12/2010 19:19

karl king got away with murdering his dad in emmerdale didn't he?

onimolap · 26/12/2010 19:21

Is Tracey going to live to see the New Year? She seems intent on causing chaos in a Street saturated with death and heightened emotion.

beachholiday · 26/12/2010 19:23

Just saw the end of EE (very pretty scene). Was Stacey flying off to somewhere she cant be extradited from? Because she hardly knows "Grant in Brazil" does she?

gregssausageroll · 27/12/2010 08:49

Grant isn't in Brazil - he's in Portugal now!

They didn't say where she was flying to.

beachholiday · 27/12/2010 08:57

Grant is getting closer?! Thats such good news. I would love them to bring him back.

(Just as long as they dont invent a reason to have a teenaged Cortney turn up in Albert Square by herself, like Vicki Fowler or Phil's Louise).

beachholiday · 27/12/2010 08:57

That would be Courtney.

onimolap · 27/12/2010 09:04

I didn't mean "never getting away with it" to be a synonym for "facing the British judicial system".

I don't watch EE any more, but it sounds as if Stacey has been exiled (and could face trial/prison if she returned).

There are other examples of Nemesis in non-judicial form: Richard Hillman's demise, for instance.

FooffysFestiveShmooffery · 27/12/2010 09:09

Unfortunately I have a feeling Tracey will live on for a while despite someone attempting to cave in her head. (which is a shame) BAD, BAD, BAD actress. BAD. Just Awful.

franke · 27/12/2010 09:09

It has gone a bit flat since the excellent week of the tram crash. I can't bear the Jack storyline - a little baby who's lost his mum and is unwanted by everyone else. I find it very upsetting

Tracey is just too evil to be credible. I hope they get rid or send her back to jail or whatever.

John/Colin - just ridiculous.

FanjoForTheMincePies · 27/12/2010 09:34

Can hardly bear to watch Corrie at the moment due to the terrible hammy acting by Tracy and Becky.

beachholiday · 27/12/2010 11:56

I was personally hoping Tracey would insist Becky sleep with her on the condition that she would give Amy back to Steve.

Tracey and Becky could then elope into the sunset (as it would be impossible in soapland to have 2 lesbian couples in the same postcode)

Thus getting rid of both characters at once.

reinitindear · 28/12/2010 18:04

Hate Hate Hate Tracey wish they had never bought her back.

stressheaderic · 28/12/2010 18:14

Loved the tram crash week, absolutely gripping. Superbly written and acted.

Quickly downhill since, the viaduct is boarded up and everything is seemingly back to normal. Steve has quickly forgiven Becky for stealing from his friend's shop and John/Colin carries on his double life without a single suspicion from Fiz. Utterly ridiculous.

Also, now that Tracey luv is back, I'll hardly bother watching. Far-fetched character, terrible actress, ugly woman.
