Did anyone watch The Trip?

You know the one with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon going round reviewing restaurants? I have been catching up with them as I recorded them on V+ and one episode cut off at the end. The one where Rob was getting a bit too friendly with Steve's assistant Emma. Please don't tell me he did the dirty on his wife and baby back home!! Yes, I know it's not real and I need to get a life!!

No, of course he didn't.
I loved it - thought it was rather sweet and touching and all about how difficult they found it to be with one another and about male companionship and everything (except the scenery) being dressed up, the food, their continuous impressions as if they didn't know how to be themselves.

I agree Bomper that bit where Rob Brydon leaned over to kiss Steve's assistant was horrid. I was still thinking about in in the last episode when he returned home to his happy wife. How sad am I!

I didn't like that bit either. He leant in for a kiss, plus.... whatever, but she blew him out. Thing is, if she hadn't....? He'd have gone ahead, despite nice wife and baby.
