Actually, some music would be good- last night was rather tuneless!
I just hope it's not a huge disappointment...though I fear it may be without Clagnut to pick onAnd I am still cross about the lack of Christmas songs.

But isn't this the one when they bring back some of the more dodgy auditionees? That can be fun.

Anyway, bit early, but

If there is any justice, Rebecca will win it.
The boy band are good (as a boy band) but not my cup of tea at all and Matt Cardle is a gurning karaoke act.
Rebecca has a truly wonderful voice and possesses grace and class.

Team Recccchhhha here too, although my gut tells me that Simon needs a band to win- and the Wandies are very commercial in a Justin Bieber kind of way. Tweenies will love them. And their grans.

Worry that Rebecca is becoming a bit Heather Small, but she does have a lovely voice.

I like Matt, but his throat problems have meant that he hasn't performed well. And the songs the last couple of weeks have been rubbish.

Not bothered now that the whinge bag that is Cher has gone

I want it to end with a flourish. I think it's going to be Cowell's last X Factor and he doesn't give a flying rat's left testicle about hiding the way it's manipulated and pre-decided. He's just appeared bored and/or obvious throughout.

At 4 minutes to the end tonight he should bring out a pissy old tramp and say 'this is Trevor, he's this year's winner', flick Louis the v and bare his arse at the camera. Cue end music.

It would be fitting. And there's a chance that Trevor can sing. You never know. In fact if he drunkenly slurred Jingle Bells, it'd be the icing on the cake.

BOF - I think you're right. I don't have to like it but I do think that Wand Erection are the ones this year.

JLS didn't win and it has done them no harm. I quite like them but I am not known for my taste in music.

TBH if Simon Cowell isn't on the X Factor next year there will not be much point in watching it.
