If X-Factor and Strictly are both shown live, how is it possible that he appeared on SCD and then on X-Factor about an hour later (and then back to SCD for the recording of tomorrow night's results show)????

They often pre-record the 'star talent' performances on X Factor and play them as 'live'

Yes, but he appeared as one of the 'duets' with one of the finalists so that must have been live...unless Take That's performance on SCD was not live....

They are both filmed in London so very dooable on a motorbike or quick car. They were on Strictly at 6.50 pm and wasn't on x factor until 8.15 so plenty of time.

I went to the halloween Strictly and Alice Cooper was the first thing to be recorded at 5pm even though he was part of the Sunday results show.

It looked live though as they were in the background during the link to the next bit

It is just a short trip down the A40 from the BBC studios at White City to where the X Factor is at Wembley.

It had to be a REALLY short trip - about six minutes between the two performances tonight!

Quick trip down the road, they will have already sound checked and make up will have done by Strictly team.
