Please oh please oh please can someone tape me tomorrow's Six Feet Under?

DP is away for five days. The cat has peed on armchair AND sh*t on the sofa. The Inferiorettes are delightful but demanding. And the digibox has broken down.

I can cope, just about, with the loss of CBeebies but the prospect of losing Six Feet Under is becoming overwhelming. Can anyone please rescue me from this dreadful plight?

Can't you get them to fix the digibox tomorrow?

I haven't the faintest idea what's wrong or who to call. It's been on the blink for ages and finally died on Saturday. I'm ashamed to confess it comes under the heading of Bloke Stuff in the Inferiority Complex - DP has done blokely things with it in the past but has bloked off to NY.

Ah. Is there not a file in your house marked 'blokey things like how the cable works'? I admit to the cable in our house being dp's responsibility too. I can't tape it as I'm not at home but there must be some mnetter near you who can tape it and drop it round. NY eh? Poor bloke!

Well, he is at a conference and had to wait seven hours while his flight was delayed...and all his luggage is still at Heathrow But I miss his winning ways with a cable
