Oh I love Miranda. I laugh all the way through. Weirdly, it is the sort of humour that I usually hate. I think she's ace.

PatTheHammer · 06/12/2010 21:47

See, I don't get it and DH loves it, he was sniggering away tonight.

Is this normal? Somehow I don't think men are the target audienceGrin

poorbuthappy · 06/12/2010 21:49

was very very good tonight. Me and dh snorted all the way through it!

SixtyFootDoll · 06/12/2010 21:52

Love it, me Dh and DS1 aged 10 were all snorting. Very poignant too, the best comedy veers towards pathos. Geniius

Meglet · 06/12/2010 21:55

Has this series got funnier or does it mean that I am ...... officially Middle Aged now?

pirateparty · 06/12/2010 21:57

I love it! Def getting funnier too.

PortlyBlackSantaUpTheChimney · 06/12/2010 23:08

Loved the rant followed by her "actually, that was rather good"

And her mum (P Hodge) is hilarious..

I suppose if she and Gary got together it would be the end but awwwww - would love to see it

(even though he is now Cendred in my eyes)

ppeatfruit · 07/12/2010 15:38

I think it is sooo funny (i love the way she talks to the camera). Did anyone see the interview with Gary afterwards? It was a 'press the red button' interview and was brill!

clangermum · 07/12/2010 19:40

Where's Miranda?

sharbie · 07/12/2010 19:43

that was my fave bit clanger

goodmanners · 07/12/2010 19:44

can i watch it on iplayer?

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 07/12/2010 19:44

awwww loved "Where's Miranda?" - and loved the fact that she stood up for herself too.

CybillLiberty · 07/12/2010 19:45

Gary is my total dreamboat, ideal man lookswise

DAMN that he's married in RL

SleepWhenImDead · 07/12/2010 19:48

The funniest bit was where they were trying to keep up with their younger friend, especially the "meet at 11?!" bit. I was like that when I was at university! Old before my time, obviously. I love Miranda, the talk-to-camera and "you have been watching" bit at the end is so wonderfully kitsch.

sadiesadiemarriedlady · 07/12/2010 19:53

loved the bit where they removed the knitting, the werthers originals and the Midsommer Murders dvd. That is soooo my life!!!

CeliaChristmasFate · 07/12/2010 19:57

4 words - Rush home for Poirot. So true Grin

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 07/12/2010 19:57

Just watched that ppeat - mmm he is so sexy gorgeous edible friendly and delightful isn't he?

Punkatheart · 08/12/2010 10:29

"She has a lovely sweep..." countered by "Wait until you see my Sooty.." made me cry with laughter. She is so very funny and her comic timing is perfect. The best comedy has a bit of pathos in it...very good episode...

Bue · 08/12/2010 13:28

My DH was killing himself at Sweep and Sooty.

I really want the next series to be relationship hilarity between Gary and Miranda - I've still got my fingers crossed.

LivinInThe80s · 08/12/2010 14:10

Every week I am in tears of laughter, I just love her. I always chuckle when she says "rude!" to the camera because DS2 says that when he's being told off Smile

mrstimlovejoy · 08/12/2010 17:24

loved it but that tamara really got on my nerves

nightmarebeforechristmas · 08/12/2010 17:28

Oh i watched this on playback, it was funny - i did this because a woman at work mentioned it weeks ago and said Miranda reminded her of me hmmm not sure how to take that now Shock
