Question for Holby City fans

Hi there, I've missed a few episodes, could someone tell me what happened to Ric Griffin - I watched the episodes where we found out he had cancer and got it together with Annalise - but what has happened to him now, is he dead?

don't think he's dying anymore either - may be wrong but think they have treated him

his daughter Jess came to see him she is having a baby and so he left Holby to see more of his family

he told new boss to cut his wage instead of getting rid of nurses

Holby is going down the pan. Too many ridiculous story lines and all the good characters leaving or sidelined.
