How all the female characters are coping with their periods? I mean you see them raking through bags looking for medical supplies, electrical equipment, food etc, etc but nobody has yet shouted "can you see if there's a Mooncup in any of those bags!".

What do you reckon, maybe TMI for TV?

LOL! And nobody wears contact lenses either!

Mind you...if being on the island can make you walk again...anything's possible!

True nobody with contacts either, although I can sort of understand the guy who walked again, could become a great alternative to going to see the Chiro, just get yourself dropped from a great height and when you land everything will just click back into place and you'll be fixed!

They never discuss periods, constipation or poluting the water supply in any of these programmes.

MrsSpoon · 21/09/2005 23:17

That's a thought, bet constipation is a bit of an issue, all that heat and limited diet. Funny was thinking about the water supply, whilst wondering about time of the month and washing rags (think I should really go to bed ) and figured they wouldn't want to be washing those (or anything else for that matter) in the pool thing they've found in the caves.

And nobody has any particular drugs they rely on, like inhalers or insulin. Phew eh?

Maybe they fashioned their own mooncups from pieces of the inflatable slides?

macwoozy · 21/09/2005 23:22

And what is the really huge bloke going to wear when he eventually washes his clothes.

hunkermunker · 21/09/2005 23:25

Catbert, re inhalers - did you not see the C4 episode tonight?

MrsSpoon · 21/09/2005 23:27

Catbert did you not watch tonight's episode? A closet asthmatic ran out of her inhalers.

I'm also wondering about the large bloke, how dramatic are they going to make his weightloss, because he's gonna lose big time soon surely. Wonder if he's really a skinny bloke in a fat suit?

Odd as well that some of them are pristine, must have a laundry and ironing service on that island and some are sweaty and dirty looking.

And why is the pregnant girl so cheery, I'd be worried as hell if I had to give birth there.

hunkermunker · 21/09/2005 23:35

She's mad, isn't she?!

MrsSpoon · 21/09/2005 23:37

Hmmm, I wondered why she was so keen to stay on the beach, giving birth, new baby and sand, don't seem a good mix.

One thing is certain she'll be b/feeding and either using some sort of cloth nappy system (like torn t-shirts) or giving elimination communication a go!

Oh and I suppose attachment parenting won't be an option but a necessity.
