We've filled up one thread, let's see if we can get through another before the end of the series!

OP posts:

Yes and no - farty.
I agree that it was a bit flat for Matt and Aliona ... but ... they always announce the one who is leaving don't they, not the one who is staying (I mean in 'normal' shows) so they didn't want to break the mould ... also they probably think it's more dramatic Grin

Pamela has had botox by looking at her forehead.

Did you know that Dirty Dancing in on channel 5.

I have to join this thread (on which I have been lurking since the start of the first one) to tell you all that I had a VERY 'interesting' dream about Matt last night. It was HOT. However, he did disappoint me by telling me that he doesn't like "drinking from the furry goblet", which was a big let down.

As you were.

LadyBlaBlah · 12/12/2010 22:06

I think I like him all the more

PotPourri · 12/12/2010 22:37

Brassick, this is a very gentile thread don't you know!

fartmeistergeneral · 12/12/2010 22:40

Brassick, sure that can't be true!!! Wink

Tho to continue in this line of discussion, I would like to hear him say 'fuck' in the right context in his loverley Durham accent. To me of course.

There, I said it.

I went to the Strictly tour a couple of years ago and tbh wouldn't go again unless I could get in the front blocks of seats (at the side would be fine)

We were a long way back and could hardly see them really - I ended up watching the big screens more than the dancers themselves.

Atmosphere was great and we did have a good time but, for me, not worth the stress to do it again. Am not used to big crowds and driving to unfamiliar city centres though so others might not find it a problem Grin

fartmeistergeneral · 13/12/2010 15:25

AllGoodNamesGone - what was the format of the show, and is it true they take members of the audience onto the dancefloor at the end???/ Grin

I would be very surprised if the celebs/pros made their way right to the back, and also drag unwilling audience members to the floor!!! I can't decide if I'm willing or unwilling. 50% of me would be in utter heaven dancing in a Strictly show, and the other 50% of me would want to put a bullet in my brain due to utter humiliation. Really, I can't decide.

fartmeistergeneral · 13/12/2010 15:38

love the term 'participation enforcers'!!!

My fear is that my face would go so beetroot my whole head would explode.

fartmeistergeneral · 13/12/2010 15:56

I also abuse exclamation marks when I'm writing about Strictly, also when I'm speaking about it, you can hear the exclamation marks!!

AllGoodNamesGone · 13/12/2010 15:57

Noone from the audience got dragged out when I was there, but that was in 2008 so may have changed since.

As I remember, it was similar to the weekly shows with the contestants doing their dances and a few pro numbers and then you could ring on your mobile to vote for the winner for the night.
