I know I wouldn't be able to get to sleep tonight without knowing - one way or the other, for me, it's good to know.

And I can watch the results show without any qualms, cos I'll be totally used to the result whatever it may be.

I am so glad that spoiler thread exists, would be hell otherwise having to sit through Tess on Sundays.

I may be confusing matters and going off at tangents, but my Strictly OCD has a problem with the timings of the 'live tv' tonight.

Take That were on SCD at about 6.55pm. Then Robbie appeared on X Factor at about 8.30pm

Then presumably the SCD results show was filmed tonight too................and they said that TT were doing a number.

Is it me.........or is all this a bit implausible given the timing?

They may well have filmed Take That's appearance last night or earlier this evening before the Live show started.

I wish they'd go back to showing the results show the same night. All this "last night" rubbish gets on my wick, to quote Len.

I presumed the Take That section was filmed earlier on today in the afternoon, audience all seated and ready to go - Take That do a couple of numbers and then an hour later the show starts?

The results show is also filmed on Saturday night and shown on Sunday night although they all go through the pretence of 'on last night's show' etc. Claudia has given it away tho, because once she said she was sitting at home watching the Sat show and several times she has said that the atmosphere in the room was amazing 'when I was standing there watching' etc etc.

I've always assumed that the main body of the Saturday night show is the only bit that is actually 'live'.
The Sunday show is definitely filmed on Saturday nights and it is, IMHO, not filmed in order - or at least, not 'as live' ie there are big gaps between the sections of filming. There are too many constume/set changes to be sorted out.

I was there last weekend. They film as much as they can either live or "as live" but some of the pro dances and special guests are filmed either before the main show or before they film the Sunday night show.

So last week, they filmed the Manics and the opening pro number before the main live show. Then we had the Saturday night show live. After that, we had a bit of a break then went back and did the Sunday night show. Most of the Sunday show was filmed in order and as live.

From my spies inside, I believe that Take That were filmed yesterday before the main live show. Don't know anything about X Factor though - sorry.

i admit i ahve never watched it before but always feel it is unfairly biased for the woman, who does the floaty stuff. whereas the man just does the lifts.
but i could be wrong.

i first watched the dance done by the eastenders girl, whatshername and was mesmorised, though on a personality level, like matt
but how can a man shine more than a woman when dancing?

Last two winners were men - Tom Chambers and Chris Hollins.

If Kara won this year it would make it even men vs. women

Whilst I agree that Kara is a fantastic dancer, it is quite clear she must have danced trained before and alot more recently than Pamela.
This is where not having Arlene anymore on the judges panel is such a mistake. She would be explaining why Pamela is so good - she would be thrilled with how she uses her feet - always turned out when they should be, pointed when they should be. Her arm placement is always spot on and she seems to have resolved the problem she had with hunching her shoulders which was the only thing detracting from her otherwise perfect posture.
More than anything else, just look at Pamela`s face when she is dancing - she is enjoying it all and selling it all - just like a pro.
