Dom must have been given a heads up on that digger chat. Why else would he have asked if anyone had ever not even attempted a trial. There seemed to be a bit edited out of that conversation. Dom gave an "ah, I see" look to someone off camera, which was in respons to more than he had been told at that point, iyswim.
