i especially like her dresses and her fairy lights and her bookcases

(her cooking I can mostly give or take! so far nothing in this series has particularly grabbed me but I love her CHristmas book)

husband famously reclusive and just eats 20 boiled eggs a day (or something) so he won't be on the programme

A jar of pesto would be so much cheaper than buying 4 bunches of basil. Plus then all the hassle of making it. I never saw the garden, missed the beginning.

33 million for her house and when she eats you'd think she normally has to live on bread and water.

I didn't see the programme and can't comment on the garden - but homemade pesto is deffo nicer!

I cook , kitchen looks like bomb hit it and i end up covered in bits of food...
... Even if its just beans and toast,never mind all that braised venison and crushed pea marmalade malarky !

It isn't the whole house. The two top floors are owned by an Egyptian couple. They (Nigella and her dh) are moving because they are fed up with couple's long term building work.

Someone said on MN that Nigella is turning into a parody of herself and I think thats true to a degree .... still like her tho.
