I remember when Jack and Vera first came into it (the new Stand and Hilda iirc)

Feel like a wrung out dish cloth now.

CubaCat · 08/11/2010 20:58

ProfYaffle · 08/11/2010 21:04

Stan and Vera, not stand Hmm

5inthebed · 08/11/2010 21:07

I was fine until Tyrone said "Goodnight Dad"

kittya · 08/11/2010 21:10

and that bloody Kevin is like a loose cannon.

I hope Jack enjoys his retirement, I dont even know his real name.

msboogie · 08/11/2010 22:03

Goodnight, dad Sad

tothesea · 08/11/2010 22:21

It was seeing Vera and them having a wee kiss and cuddle that did it for me. Beautifully done and very sad Sad

kittya · 08/11/2010 23:00

I loved the way he went the same way as Vera. Theres not many of the oldies left now. I hope none of them go in the tram situation.

Oh, it was so touching. Three tissues and two glasses of wine.

It was very well done.I blubbed!

AfternoonsandCoffeespoons · 09/11/2010 09:32

Very well done and so sad. I was in bits! Sad

Bill Tarmey's version of wind beneath my wings was playing in the rovers at the party - nice touch corrie producers!

EndoTheRoad · 09/11/2010 09:40

Very moving ending for Jack.

You'd have to be inhuman to have not welled up.

thegirlwiththemouseyhair · 09/11/2010 10:00

Tears were shed Sad
Beautifully done.
I was almost dreading Vera's appearance as had been bigged up by tabloids (so I heard Hmm)
but it couldn't have been better. Underplayed, touching.
Goodnight Jack.

lilyliz · 09/11/2010 15:56

it was lovely and well done but you are right not many oldies left,do hope it does'nt turn into a another soap pandering to the young, and somebody put a brick in Kevins gob

turnitup · 09/11/2010 21:45

Was lovely, the bit with Vera was just so touching....what a way to go.

Didnt realise Tyrone said 'goodnight Dad' I heard it as Jack Sad

I didnt like it that he knew about baby Jack before he died though.

MrsDinky · 09/11/2010 22:11

Just watched it, so sad,so well done. Am in floods.....

kittya · 11/11/2010 20:40

Housewife2010 · 11/11/2010 20:42

Sobbing again. I love Corrie so much & loved Jack.

kittya · 11/11/2010 20:58

That bloody Molly what is she playing at? I thought she genuinely did love him now.

OP posts:
Housewife2010 · 11/11/2010 22:10

Time for the tram to put her & us out of our misery!

Housemum · 12/11/2010 10:14

Could the tram please see off Molly (too much whining), Nick (smack-me face) and Dev (worst actor in the world)

Actually, I think Rita had been taking lessons from Dev - her reaction when Connie told her about Jack was so unnatural!

kittya · 12/11/2010 23:07

Molly and whiney Sian would do it for me. And Dev and Nick but I dont think they will give Gail anymore trauma.
