Today's 2nd episode. Kevin came round to talk to Molly about the results of the DNA test. They thought Jack was out. He wasn't. Jack hasn't said anything, but looks heartbroken.

If Ashley is, what will happen to the butcher's? What might that mean for Graham (a character I've warmed to a lot)?

If Molly is a tram victim, then Tyrone would normally be the father in the legal sense (as husband of the mother), but what happens if Kevin plays the "biological father" card? Does he have legal rights?

V good point re the trams Kittya - I'd noticed that but hadn't linked it with the accident.

Friend of mine sat in the same train carriage as Rita, said she was v imperious, talked v loudly and clearly expected everyone to recognise her. Friend was too frightened to walk past her to the buffet car.

I knew Rita would be a luvvy in real life!! I bet all the older ones are.

I watched the omnibus this morning and although haven't watched Corrie for years I sort of latched onto most things. BUT - what has Fizz's husband done (murder I presume) and what has Ashley done that means Claire's leaving him?

Fizz's husband (John) has done a lot of things. He stole another teacher's identity so he could get a teaching job. This teacher then turned up at his door, fight ensued in which the teacher died of heart attack or stroke or astham attack or something. John, afraid of being accused of murder, hid the body in the knicker factory, under the floor. Factory was being rebuilt at the time, so the floor was up.

Claire is threatening to leave Ashley for no good reason that I can see. She is just an arse.

Claire's has turned into a mardy cow hasn't she? Has declared the family will be moving to France and is getting increasingly cross with Ashley for his feeble protests. I'm hoping Claire leaves but Ashley stays but I'm not sure that'll happen.

yy, re the older cast members. I hate it when you see them interviewed as themselves and they talk in fake posh accents like Hyacinth Bucket.

Legally though, could Claire just up and leave for France with the 2 children (one isn't hers) and tell Ashely to get stuffed?

I thought that about Colin but otoh, can't work out why he'd come round in the factory and just wander off into obscurity and then hint at his presence by sending flowers. I'd have been hammering on John's door wanting to know wtf he was playing at.

I thought Colin Fishwick really was dead as all the factory women were complaining about an awful smell in the place when they moved back in.

I hope he is dead, I cant cope with these people coming back to life all the time!!
